In the heart of the old town of Tropea there is an ancient building, perched on the cliff over the sea, where you can admire the most unique view of one of the best seaside resorts in Italy...
The Isola Bella, with the Church of Santa Maria on top, dominates the skyline, from the Aeolian Islands to the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia.
Through one of the picturesque staircases of the fortress you can easily reach the private beach of Le Roccette Club where our guests can reserve a beach umbrella and two loungers for free.
Here fine white sand, crystal clear water and the sound of the sea waves invite relaxation in front of a unique panorama.
Our apartments are exactly in this spot, where culture, art and nature converge in the most fascinating of places.
The palace, built in the Eighteenth century with local stones, maintains its original features in the façade. Its upper floors were home to an aristocratic Tropean family.
The lower floors were created by carving into the tuff rock and they were used as granary stores and cellars, because their position was ideal for uploading goods directly onto the ships docked in the cove underneath.
The dwellings of Le Roccette Club, conceived where once were the storage rooms, have been designed in line with the natural shape of the sandstone, keeping the volumes intact, in order to make every space a unique environment offering an unforgettable experience.
The apartments, at the top of the high street in Tropea, are the ideal place for anyone who wants to visit historical buildings, go for a shopping spree, search for that special local craft item or find a traditional trattoria calabrese.
