At the heart of this natural spectacle lies Residence sul Mare, an apartment complex with an internal garden with ornamental plants and fruit trees on one side and a neighbouring beach on the other side.
The sea is a few steps away from any of the apartments. Thanks to a private entrance exclusively for our guests, you can reach the beach directly and find a beach umbrella and two loungers at your disposal at no extra cost.
It is the Lido of San Leonardo, at the bottom of the cliff of Tropea, between the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia and the Gulf of Gioia Tauro.
Residence Sul Mare was created in the Sixties out of the love of the local land and the intention to make the most of Calabrian natural resources and culture.
Since then an active and dynamyic family-run business has allowed Residence sul Mare to grow in the quality of accommodation and attention to customers, maintaining the connection with local identity intact.
Apartments have been developed in line with the natural environment, its vegetation and its ecosystem, ensconced in between the cliff of Tropea and the Rock of San Leonardo of which they follow the shape.
Along the same lines, the residences have been furnished employing local artisans and workers, equipped as they are with all comforts and amenities.
In the heart of the Residence you can find a luxurious garden full of ornamental plants and fruit trees, offering full immersion in Mediterranean colours and scents, as well as barbecue areas for the guests.
The Residence is located in a lively area of the coast of Tropea, full of shops, restaurants, food markets, a bar and a dry cleaner, all easily reachable on foot. It is also near the old town centre of Tropea, and other cultural and tourist highlights, accessible through one of the evocative staircases carved in the rock.
Le Roccette Club includes rooms and apartments of varying size, sleeping from 2 to 5 people, complete with a kitchenette and one or two private bathrooms. There are many residential options, with various sizes, all comprising of either a terrace or a private sheltered courtyard with pergolas and ornamental plants.
